Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-P193400

Condition
If a malfunction of the speed signal is detected in the brake control module (BCM), a malfunction message is sent to engine control module (ECM) and a diagnostic trouble code is stored in the engine control module (ECM).
Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) signal are stored in the brake control module (BCM).

Substitute value
- The cruise control function is disabled.
- Speed signal from transmission control module (TCM) is used (applies to automatic transmission (AUT)).
- Speed signal from brake control module (BCM) is set to 6 km/h (applies to manual transmission (MAN)).

Possible source
- Look for the cause of the fault in the brake control module (BCM).
