Preparatory work

Removing the intake manifold
Remove the intake manifold. See Intake manifold/gasket, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair.

Removal

Removing the distribution damper





Remove:
- the 4 x M6 screws
- the distribution damper, discard the gaskets.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Tightening torque, B8444S [1][2]Specifications

Installing the distribution damper

Install:
- the distribution damper, use new gaskets
- the 4 x M6 screws. Tighten.

Finishing

Installing the intake manifold
Install the intake manifold. See Intake manifold/gasket, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair

Checking the function
Start the engine and check the function.
