Bevel gear, replacing

Removal

Remove:
- the front manifold. Refer to: Exhaust manifold/gasket, cylinder 1, 3, 5 and 7 (bank 1), replacing, B8444S Exhaust Manifold/Gasket, Cylinder 1, 3, 5 And 7 (Bank 1), Replacing
- the rear manifold Refer to: Exhaust manifold/gasket, cylinder 2, 4, 6 and 8 (bank 2), replacing, B8444S Exhaust Manifold/Gasket, Cylinder 2, 4, 6 And 8 (Bank 2), Replacing
- the propeller shaft from the bevel gear's drive flange












When changing to new bevel gear, this part shall be transferred.

Tighten bevel gear to transmission

Only applies when changing to new part





When changing to new bevel gear, these screws shall be removed and discarded.





Tighten manifold bracket for bevel gear according to

Tightening torque: M6 according to





The bevel gear is supplied filled with oil, however, always check the oil level.
Warning! Be prepared to collect draining fluid.
