Condition





Note! The diagnostic trouble code only applies to brake systems with DSTC.

The AYC sensor is supplied with voltage 12 V.
Diagnostic trouble code BCM-C006A01 is generated if the brake control module (BCM) registers that the voltage feed to the AYC sensor is too high or too low.

Substitute value
- TC is blocked.
- SC is blocked.
- AYC is blocked.

Possible source
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors or connections.
- The voltage feed cables of the AYC sensor are short-circuited to ground or voltage.
- Open circuit on the voltage feed cable of the AYC sensor.
- Internal malfunction in AYC sensor.
- Internal malfunction in brake control module (BCM).

Fault symptom[s]
- General warning light on.
- Anti-spin is not operational.
- The stability function is not operational.
- The anti-skid function is not operational.
