Short-circuit to ground

Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector for the center loudspeaker.
Check the cable terminals in the female and male sections of the connector. The cable terminals must not be damaged or pressed back.
Check the signal cable between the Audio module (AUD) terminal #B10 and the central loudspeaker terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the signal cable between the Audio module (AUD) terminal #B2 and the central loudspeaker terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Check that the sound is heard from speaker for Audio module (AUD) by trying the radio FM/AM or the cd-player.
