Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-9F26

Condition
The Central electronic module (CEM) powers the lighting in the cup holder/ashtray.
The power supply is a PWM signal (Pulse Width Modulated).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the Central electronic module (CEM) registers that the circuit for the cup holder/ashtray lighting has a short-circuit to ground.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute value
- If the fault has been detected in 100 ignition cycles, the output is closed permanently until the diagnostic trouble code is erased (applies from structure week 200539).

Possible source
- The cables are short-circuited to each other.
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable.
