Faulty Signal
Faulty signal
Checking the wiring
- Ignition off
- Disconnect connector D on the rear electronic module (REM).
The DTC means that communication does not work between the Rear electronic module (REM) and:
- Inclination Sensor Module (ISM) (for vehicles with structure week -201127)
- Siren (BBS) (for vehicles with structure week 201128-)
This may be due to a fault in the signal cable between the control modules or a defective communication device in one or all of the control modules. Check the signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #D26 (#26) and the inclination sensor module (ISM) terminal #2.
Remedy as necessary.
