For checking MMS in S60/S80/V70/XC70 or IMS in XC90 (from and including MY 2012)
- Check that the function for reduced alarm is not activated (button on 7 in row).
- Open the driver's window, close all doors and hatches. Lock the vehicle using the remote control.
- Wait 25 seconds until the alarm is active. Then trigger the alarm by waving your arm inside the vehicle. The siren or horn must sound and the hazard warning lamps flash. Reset the alarm by pressing the unlocking button on the remote control.
- Check that the MMS or IMS has triggered the alarm via the read out of the alarm cause in Vehicle communication.
