Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-U210800
Condition
The control module is continually supplied with information about whether adaptive cruise control is permitted or not from the Central electronic module (CEM) and the Forward Sensing Module (FSM) via CAN communication.
The Engine control module (ECM) checks the received information.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Received information states that adaptive cruise control is not permitted.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Cruise control is disengaged when the fault is active.
Possible source
- Fault-trace the central electronic module (CEM).
- Fault-trace the Forward Sensing Module (FSM).
Fault symptom[s]
- Cruise control does not operate
