Passenger's Airbag Cutoff Indicator Replacement

1. With navigation: Remove the navigation display unit Navigation Display Unit Removal/Installation.

2. Without navigation: Remove the audio-HVAC display unit Audio-HVAC Display Unit Removal/Installation.

3. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator (B).





4. Remove the screws (C), then pull out the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator from the navigation display unit (with navigation) or the audio-HVAC display unit (without navigation).

5. Reinstall the parts in the reverse order of removal.

6. After installing the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator, confirm proper system operation:

- Clear any DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
