Passenger's Airbag Cutoff Indicator Replacement

1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure, then wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.

2. With navigation: Remove the navigation display unit Navigation Display Unit Removal/Installation.

3. Without navigation: Remove the audio-HVAC display unit Audio-HVAC Display Unit Removal/Installation.

4. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator (B).





5. Remove the screws (C), then pull out the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator from the navigation display unit (with navigation) or the audio-HVAC display unit (without navigation).

6. Reinstall the parts in the reverse order of removal.

7. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure.

8. Clear any DTCs with the HDS.

9. Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator and the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
