Compressor Clutch: Service and Repair

Vehicles With Compressors With A/C Clutch -N25







HP = High pressure side
LP = Low pressure side

1 - Compressor


NOTE:
- Vehicles with 6 or 8 cylinder engines have "Denso" compressors installed.
- Mark running direction of ribbed belt before removing, reversed running direction may lead to belt damage.


2 - A/C clutch -N25-
- Service A/C clutch.
- Check and adjust gap between belt and clutch pulley of A/C clutch
3 - Oil drain plug
4 - High pressure relief valve
5 - Circuit with valve
6 - A/C Pressure Switch -F129- / High Pressure Switch -G65-


NOTE:
- A/C Pressure Switch -F129- were installed on vehicles up to model year 2001.
- On vehicles from model year 2002 High Pressure Sensor -G65- is installed.


7 - Condenser
8 - Connectors - in refrigerant line
9 - Closing cap
- with seal, install
10 - Service - connection
- High pressure side.
11 - Restrictor
- Installed in bolt position 8.
12 - Evaporator
13 - Service - connection
- Low pressure side
14 - Closing cap
- with seal, install
15 - Catch reservoir
