Inner Tail Lamps, from 09.07

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Inner Tail Lamps

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into "0" position.

- Remove luggage compartment lid trim.

- Unplug connector - arrow -.





- Free up electrical wiring.

- Remove the nuts - 1 - and the tail lamp by removing the sealing strip adhesive on the outer edge.

- If necessary, pull the wire with the grommet out of the luggage compartment lid.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Replace the double bolts if the sealing washer is damaged.

• Check for proper sealing of grommet between luggage compartment lid and wire.

- Attach a new adhesive strip to the sealing strip and remove the protective film.

- Install luggage compartment lid trim.

Tightening Specifications






Back-Up Lamp Bulb

Removing





- Remove inner rear lamp. Refer to => [ Inner Tail Lamps ] Inner Tail Lamps, Through 08.07.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the housing cover - 1 -.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.





- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the socket - 1 - with the bulb.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 1 - and - 2 - on the socket - 3 - with the bulb.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• The flat side of the connector must face toward the socket with bulb.

- Install inner rear lamp. Refer to => [ Inner Tail Lamps ] Inner Tail Lamps, Through 08.07.

Fog Lamp Bulb

Removing





- Remove inner rear lamp. Refer to => [ Inner Tail Lamps ] Inner Tail Lamps, Through 08.07.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the housing cover - 1 -.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the socket - 1 - with the bulb.





- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 1 - and - 2 - on the socket - 3 - with the bulb.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• The flat side of the connector must face toward the socket with bulb.

- Install inner rear lamp. Refer to => [ Inner Tail Lamps ] Inner Tail Lamps, Through 08.07.
