Side Marker Lamps

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into "0" position.

- Attach bumper cover using a strip of adhesive tape on inside of cornering lamp - 1 -.

- Lift the side marker lamp about 10 mm using a (80 - 200) as shown in the illustration.

- Slide the side marker lamp far enough toward the center of the vehicle on the adhesive tape strips - arrow - so it can be removed from the bumper cover with the electrical connector.





- Remove the side marker from the bumper cover at the rear edge - arrow -.





- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

Installing





Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Replace the entire front side marker lamp if the LED is faulty.

- Connect electrical connector.

- Insert the side marker lamp into the bumper cover with the retaining tab first - arrow 1 -.

- Press the side marker lamp into the bumper cover - arrow 2 -.

Removing





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into "0" position.

- Remove quick-release screws - 1 - and - 2 - and remove front noise insulation.

- Remove the lamp socket - 1 - from the side marker lamp housing.





- Remove bulb from socket.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert the new bulb (12V, 5 W - orange) into the housing without touching the glass bulb with bare hands.

- When inserting, make sure markings - 2 - and - 3 - are horizontal.
