Outer Tail Lamps, through 08.07

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Outer Tail Lamps

Removing





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into "0" position.

- Unclip plugs - arrows - from luggage compartment lining.

- Remove nuts - 2 -.

- Push rear lamp outwards and disengage from retaining pin at body.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector at tail lamp.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Replace adjusting nuts if sealing washer is damaged.

- Remove double-sided adhesive tape - arrow - at body cover panel and rear lamp.





- Attach new adhesive strip and remove backing.

- Position rear lamp from outside at retaining pin and press towards center of vehicle until it engages.

- Press body cover panel onto rear lamp to affix double-sided adhesive tape.

Tightening Specifications






Tail Lamp LED Circuit Boards

Removing





- Remove outer rear lamp. Refer to => [ Outer Tail Lamps ].

- Press catches apart - arrows - and detach housing cover.

- Unplug connector.

- Remove bolts - 1 through 6 -.





- Take LED boards out of rear lamp.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install outer rear lamp. Refer to => [ Outer Tail Lamps ].

Tightening Specifications






Tail Lamp Control Module

Removing





- Remove outer rear lamp. Refer to => [ Outer Tail Lamps ].

- Press catches apart - arrows - and detach housing cover.

- Unplug connector.

- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove Tail Lamp Control Module from rear lamp housing.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install outer rear lamp. Refer to => [ Outer Tail Lamps ].
