Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

Washer Fluid Reservoir

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Open filler connection of washer fluid reservoir.

- Pull circlip of cap for washer fluid reservoir off filler connection.

- Remove front right wheel.

- Remove rear section of front right wheel housing liner.

- Disconnect electrical connectors - 3 - and - 6 -.





- Remove hose connection - 5 - (press release button).

- Remove washer fluid line - 1 - at washer fluid pump.

- Remove screws - arrows -.

- Swivel washer fluid reservoir slightly to rear.

- Disconnect connector - 2 - at low washer fluid level sensor.

- Lower the windshield washer fluid reservoir slightly and remove the seal - 4 - from the filler tube.

- Remove washer fluid reservoir downward.

Installing





Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Tighten screws in sequence - 1 to 3 -.

• Washer fluid hose must engage audibly into connection for washer fluid pump.

- Install the right front wheel housing liner.
