Washer Fluid Reservoir
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Drip Tray
Removing
- turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key.
- Remove the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck ] Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck.
- Remove the left front wheel.
- Remove the left front wheel housing liner.
- Place a drip tray under the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
- Remove the hose coupling - 1 - from the headlamp washer system fluid line - 3 - by pulling the release button.
- Cut through the cable ties - 2 and 4 -.
- Remove the plastic wedge - 5 -.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 7 and 8 -.
- Release the securing clip and remove the washer fluid lines from the windshield washer system washer fluid pump - 9 -.
- Loosen the wiring harness - 2 - from the mounts on the washer fluid reservoir.
- Remove the bolts - 1 and 3 -.
- Pull the washer fluid reservoir forward slightly and out.
- Disconnect the electrical connector - 5 -.
- Loosen the headlamp washer system fluid hose - 6 - and wiring harness - 4 - from the mounts on the washer fluid reservoir.
- Remove the washer fluid reservoir.
Installing
• Tightening specifications and sequence, refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir, Tightening Specifications and Sequence ] Washer Fluid Reservoir, Hoses and Nozzles Overview.
- When installing the washer fluid reservoir, make sure the securing tab - 1 - engages in the mount - 2 - on the fender.
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Install the left front wheel house liner.
- Install the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck ] Washer Fluid Reservoir Filler Neck.
