• Do not let the engine run or tow the vehicle when the cover is removed or when there is no ATF in the transmission.

2 Small Axial Sealing Element

• Replace

3 Large Axial Sealing Element

• Replace

4 Roller

5 Lever

• For the selector lever lock mechanism

6 Spring

7 Seal

• For the transmission control module (J217) connector

8 Bolt

• Replace

• 10 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

• Qty. 12, tighten in diagonal sequence

9 Cover

• Refer to => [ Cover, with Transmission Removed ] Cover, With Transmission Removed

10 Gasket

• Replace

11 Bolt

• 5 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

• Quantity: 3

12 Transmission Control Module (J217)

13 Bolt

• 5 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

• Quantity: 3

14 Hydraulic Control Module

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Hydraulic Control Module ] Hydraulic Control Module
