Air Duct For Glove Compartment Cooling

Removal






- Remove the glove compartment.

- Remove the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to => [ Right Footwell Vent Air Guide - Front Passenger Side ] Right Footwell Vent Air Guide - Front Passenger Side.

- Release the securing tab - 2 - and pull the air guide - 3 - down out of the mount - arrow -.

- Remove the air guide hose - 1 - at the connector.

Installation






Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

If the foam seal is damaged or not correctly positioned with respect to the glove compartment, noise can occur at the connection point.

If the air guide hose is not correctly attached to the A/C unit, noises can occur at the connecting point.

- Replace a damaged or defective foam seal - 3 -.

- The air guide hose - 1 - can only be attached in one position - arrow - to the stop on the connector - 2 -.

- The air guide must be pressed on until it engages audibly.

- If the air guide hose - D - at the connector - B - is loose, it must be secured with a hose clamp - C -. Hose clamp, refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).






- Install the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to=> [ Right Footwell Vent Air Guide - Front Passenger Side ] Right Footwell Vent Air Guide - Front Passenger Side.
