Rear Window Wiper Arm, Adjusting

Procedure






- Remove wiper arm, refer to => [ Rear Wiper Arm ] Rear Wiper Arm.

- Switch on ignition.

- Activate rear wipe and let wiper arm run to end position.

- Turn off the ignition.

- Position wiper arm with wiper blade installed at wiper axle and align wiper blade at rear window as follows:

• Dimension - a - = 19 + 5 mm.

• Dimension is the gap between tip of wiper blade and lower edge of window.

- Tighten the wiper arm nut.

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Rear Window Wiper System Overview ] Rear Window Wiper System Overview.

- Switch on ignition.

- Activate rear wipe and let wiper arm run to end position.

- Check adjustment of wiper arm again, correct if necessary.
