Radiator: Service and Repair

17 11 000 - Removing and installing radiator (M54/N46)





Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow instructions for working 17 00 ... Instructions For Working on Cooling System on cooling system
- Remove intake duct
- Remove fan cowl Service and Repair
- Draining coolant Service and Repair
- Unlock coolant hoses and detach
- If fitted:
Remove heat exchanger Removal and Replacement for automatic transmission fluid





Release screw.
Slacken holder (1).
Tightening torque 17 11 10AZ [1][2]17 11 Radiator and Mounting Parts.





Slacken holder (1).
Tightening torque 17 11 10AZ [1][2]17 11 Radiator and Mounting Parts.





Remove radiator (1) in direction of arrow.
