1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the X82 audio/video input adapter and the X2 harness connector at the A11 radio. Ignition ON.
2. Test for less then 1 V between the signal circuit terminals listed below and ground:
* A11 radio terminal 3 X2
* A11 radio terminal 13 X2
* A11 radio terminal 14 X2
* A11 radio terminal 7 X2
* A11 radio terminal 17 X2
• If 1 V or greater.
Repair the short to voltage on the circuit.
• If less than 1 V.
3. Ignition OFF.
4. Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminals listed below and ground:
* A11 radio terminal 3 X2
* A11 radio terminal 13 X2
* A11 radio terminal 14 X2
* A11 radio terminal 7 X2
* A11 radio terminal 17 X2
• If less than infinite resistance.
Repair the short to ground on the circuit.
• If infinite resistance.
5. Test for less then 2 ohms between signal circuit terminals listed below and ground:
* A11 radio terminal 3 X2 and the X82 audio/video input adapter terminal 6
* A11 radio terminal 13 X2 and the X82 audio/video input adapter terminal 5
* A11 radio terminal 14 X2 and the X82 audio/video input adapter terminal 7
* A11 radio terminal 7 X2 and the X82 audio/video input adapter terminal 3
* A11 radio terminal 17 X2 and the X82 audio/video input adapter terminal 1
• If 2 ohms or greater.
Repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
• If less then 2 ohms.
6. Replace the X82 audio/video input adapter.
7. Connect all harness connectors. Ignition ON, radio ON.
8. Verify the entertainment system displays video playing from a device connected to the X82 audio/video input adapter.
• If the entertainment system does not display video playing from a device.
