Antenna Ground Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove 15 retaining bolts from the antenna ground plate.




4. Disconnect the electrical lead to the ground plate.
5. Remove the antenna ground plate from the vehicle.




6. Remove the retaining screws that secure the antenna modules to the antenna ground plate and remove the 2 antenna modules from the ground plate.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the 2 antenna modules to the antenna ground plate with the retaining screws and tighten to 1.8 Nm (16 lb in).




2. Position the ground plate to the rear compartment lid and connect the electrical lead to the ground plate.




3. Install 15 retaining bolts to the antenna ground plate and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
4. Install the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
