Water Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Disconnect the serpentine belt
4. Remove water pump pulley.
5. Remove water pump.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Clean gasket surfaces.
2. Install gasket and water pump.
3. Install water pump pulley.
4. Install serpentine belt.
5. Fill the cooling system.
6. Reconnect battery and start engine.
7. Check for leaks.
