DTC 52
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
When there is a vehicle accident of sufficient magnitude to set DTC 51, the DERM stores accident information in the EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory). DTC 52 is set when the EEPROM has stored 4 simultaneously closed arming and discriminating sensor events (DTC 51 settings).
TEST CONDITIONS
Tested every 100 milliseconds during "Continuous Monitoring."
FAILURE CONDITIONS
DTC 52 will set when the EEPROM area reserved for accident data in the DERM is detected as full during "Continuous Monitoring."
ACTION TAKEN
"INFL REST" warning lamp is turned "ON" during all future ignition cycles.
CONDITIONS TO CLEAR
This diagnostic trouble code cannot be cleared.
