Generator Noise Test

One of the following conditions may cause a noisy generator
^ Loose mounting bolts
^ Worn bearings
^ Dirty bearings
^ A defective stator

A high frequency whine (or magnetic noise) heard at full output is normal. This noise does not indicate a generator failure.
