Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP ClusterREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Adjust the steering wheel for access.
2. Remove the ignition switch cylinder bezel.
3. Remove the LH instrument panel (IP) fuse block access opening cover.
4. Remove the steering column filler.
5. Open the instrument panel compartment door.
6. Remove the IP cluster trim plate screws.
7. Position the transaxle shift control lever to the rear most position, If equipped with a front floor console.
8. Starting at the RH IP cluster trim plate, grasp the trim plate and pull rearward.
9. Continue working around the IP cluster trim plate until all of the retainers are released from the IP trim pad.
10. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the hazard switch.
11. Remove the IP cluster trim plate.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the instrument panel (IP) cluster trim plate to the IP trim pad.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the hazard switch.
3. Press the IP cluster trim plate into the IP trim pad until the retainers are fully seated.
4. Install the IP cluster trim plate screws.
Tighten
Tighten the IP cluster trim plate screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
5. Close the instrument panel compartment door.
6. Install the LH IP fuse block access opening cover.
7. Install the steering column filler.
8. Install the ignition switch cylinder bezel. Position the transaxle shift control lever to park position, If equipped with a front floor console.
9. Reposition the steering wheel to the original position.
