Compartment Replacement - IP

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the right body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar (Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar) in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the 2 lower bolts which secure the I/P compartment.
3. Open the instrument panel compartment door.
4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 3 upper screws (1)
* The instrument panel compartment (2)




Installation Procedure





1. Install the instrument panel compartment (2) to the instrument panel. Secure the compartment with the upper 3 screws (1).
2. Close the instrument panel compartment door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the 2 I/P compartment lower retaining bolts.

Tighten the I/P compartment lower retaining bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

4. Install the right body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar (Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar) in Interior Trim.
