Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning Battery Disconnect Warning.


1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary).




2. Place the T receptacle of J 42059 - cigar lighter socket remover into one of the retaining tabs (1). Angle the other side into the opposite retaining tab. Pull the power accessory receptacle straight out.




3. Remove the front floor console side cover. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C3) Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C3)Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C1) Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C1).

4. Disconnect the power accessory receptacle electrical connector (1).




5. Remove the bezel (1) and the cover (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the cover (2) and the bezel (1).




2. Connect the power accessory receptacle electrical connector (1).

3. Install the accessory power receptacle to the receptacle bezel.

4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary).
