Rear Compartment Courtesy Lamp Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open rear compartment lid.

Warning:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning Battery Disconnect Warning.


2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary).





3. Remove the rear compartment lamp (2) by prizing the lamp from the rear shelf (1).

4. Bend back the lever contact that holds the bulb and remove the bulb from the lamp assembly.

Installation Procedure





1. Install a new bulb to the rear compartment lamp housing (2).

2. Install the rear compartment lamp housing (2) by pushing wiring and connector of lamp into the rear shelf (1) cavity. Snap lamp into position.

3. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary).

4. Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.

5. Close the rear compartment lid.
