Fuel Gauge: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the cluster assembly from the panel.
3. Remove the cluster lens (7) and the bezel (6) assembly from the cluster housing (3) by releasing the 8 black plastic tabs.




4. Remove the 3 screws (3) and the fuel gauge from the cluster housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the fuel gauge to the cluster housing. Secure the gauge with the 3 screws (3).




2. Install the cluster lens (7) and the bezel (6) to the cluster housing (3).
3. Install the cluster assembly to the panel.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
