Temperature Gauge: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the cluster assembly from the panel.
3. Remove the cluster lens and bezel assembly from the cluster housing by releasing the 8 black plastic tabs in order to gain access to the temperature gauge (9).




4. Remove the 3 screws (4) and the temperature gauge from the cluster housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the temperature gauge to the cluster housing. Secure the gauge with the 3 screws (4).
2. Install the cluster lens and the bezel to the cluster housing.
3. Install the cluster assembly to the panel.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
