Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement - Left

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer toSIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (Knee Bolster Replacement - Left) .
2. Remove the nuts (2) securing the knee bolster (1) to the knee bolster brackets.
3. Remove the knee bolster (1).




4. Remove the nuts (1) securing the inner and outer knee bolster brackets (2) to the instrument panel (I/P).
5. Remove the knee bolster brackets (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Align the inner and outer knee bolster brackets (2) to the I/P.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts (1).

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).





3. Install the knee bolster (1) to the knee bolster brackets.
4. Install the nuts (2).

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

5. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (Knee Bolster Replacement - Left) .
