Diagnostic Instructions

- Level Control Sensor Circuit
Circuit/System Description
The automatic level control sensor monitors the body to suspension height and detects when it is out of range.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The ignition is ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
When the automatic level control sensor detects body to suspension height is out of range, 0.5-4.5 volts, for at least 1 second.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
* Leveling functions are disabled.
* The accessory inflator function continues to operate.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The conditions that caused the DTC to set have been removed.
Diagnostic Aids
* This DTC is set when ride height is physically being held out of range.
* This DTC can set when the sensor link is damaged or detached.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Verify that the DTC sets within the Conditions for Running and Setting. Inspect the automatic level control sensor link for damage or being disconnected.
2. Perform the automatic level control sensor replacement procedure.
3. Operate the vehicle within the conditions that the customer experienced and verify the DTC does not reset.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.
Important: System untested code will continue to flash until self test has been completed after the automatic level control sensor replacement.
