Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Reposition the coolant overflow hose clamp at the coolant recovery reservoir.
2. Remove the hose (1) from the reservoir.




3. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir retainer (1).
4. Remove the coolant reservoir (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the coolant reservoir (2).
2. Install the coolant recovery reservoir retainer (1).




3. Install the hose (1) to the reservoir.
4. Position the coolant overflow hose clamp at the coolant recovery reservoir.
5. Fill the coolant recovery reservoir, if necessary. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LZ9) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) (Service and Repair).
