ORC VERIFICATION TEST

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information Electrical Diagrams.

ORC VERIFICATION TEST
1. Remove any special tools or jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components, except the battery.

WARNING: Turn the ignition on, then reconnect the 12-volt battery. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

2. Connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector - use the most current software available.
3. With the scan tool to erase stored DTC in all airbag system modules.
4. Turn the ignition off, and wait 15 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
5. Wait one minute, and read active codes and if there are none present read the stored codes.
6. If equipped with Airbag On - Off switch, read the DTC in all switch positions.
7. With the scan tool read the DTCs in all airbag system related modules.
8. If the scan tool shows any active or stored codes, Testing and Inspection and follow the procedure specified for that trouble code. If no active or stored codes are present, the repair is complete.

Are any DTC present or is the original condition still present?

Yes

- Perform the appropriate DTC. Testing and Inspection.

No

- Repair is complete.
