Fuse: Locations

Fuse Locations and Types

Underhood Fuses (Totally Integrated Power Module)

The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is located in the engine compartment near the battery. This center contains cartridge fuses and mini fuses. A description of each fuse and component may be stamped on the inside cover, otherwise the cavity number of each fuse is stamped on the inside cover that corresponds to the following chart.

CAUTION:
- When installing the Integrated Power Module cover, it is important to ensure the cover is properly positioned and fully latched. Failure to do so may allow water to get into the Integrated Power Module, and possibly result in a electrical system failure.
- When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

Underhood Fuses (Power Distribution Center - UREA)

The Upfitter Power Distribution Center (PDC) is located in the engine compartment near the TIPM. This center contains fuses and relays. A description of each fuse and component may be stamped on the inside cover, otherwise the cavity number of each fuse is stamped on the inside cover that corresponds to the following chart.

CAUTION:
- When installing the PDC cover, it is important to ensure the cover is properly positioned and fully latched. Failure to do so may allow water to get into the PDC, and possibly result in a electrical system failure.

The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

Underhood Fuses (Power Distribution Center - Upfitter)

The UREA Power Distribution Center (PDC) is located in the right side of the engine next to the fender near the cowl panel. This center contains cartridge fuses and mini fuses. A description of each fuse and component may be stamped on the inside cover, otherwise the cavity number of each fuse is stamped on the inside cover that corresponds to the following chart.

CAUTION:
- When installing the PDC cover, it is important to ensure the cover is properly positioned and fully latched. Failure to do so may allow water to get into the PDC, and possibly result in a electrical system failure.
