Test E: DTCS B1990, B1991 and B2275: Pedal Forward/Rearward Potentiometer Feedback Circuit Fault
Pinpoint Test E: DTCs B1990, B1991 and B2275: Pedal Forward/Rearward Potentiometer Feedback Circuit FaultNormal Operation
Depending on the pedal position, the adjustable pedal potentiometer sends a resistance through feedback circuit 1491 (LB/YE) to the Driver Seat Module (DSM). That value is stored in the DSM memory for recalling the position of the adjustable pedals.
Circuit 446 (OG/WH) carries a reference voltage from the DSM to the adjustable pedal potentiometer.
Circuit 447 (OG/RD) carries return voltage from the adjustable pedal potentiometer to the other DSM controlled memory system components.
Possible Causes
^ circuit 1491 (LB/YE) short to voltage, short to ground, or open
^ circuit 446 (OG/WH) short to voltage, short to ground, or open
^ circuit 447 (OG/RD) short to voltage, short to ground, or open
^ DSM
^ adjustable pedal motor
