Normal Operation
The audio unit directs audio signals to the front door speakers and to the digital versatile disc (DVD) player (if equipped). The tweeter speakers are wired in series with the front door speakers. The rear door speakers receive audio signals through the DVD player (if equipped) or directly from the audio unit.

DTC B2965 - sets when an open, a short to ground, or a short to voltage is detected on the front door or rear door speaker circuits. The following should also be noted:
- The Audiophile audio unit does not check for opens in the front door speakers.
- The navigation audio unit does not check for opens.
- For all systems, the tweeters are not checked.
