Normal Operation
Remote locking and unlocking of the doors is accomplished by the smart junction box (SJB) receiving a command message from the RKE integrated keyhead transmitter (IKT). The SJB sends a signal directly to all of the door latches.

DTC B1138 Memory Full - is a continuous DTC that sets when the SJB cannot store any more IKT transmitter identification codes (TICs) because all 4 IKT memory locations are full.

DTC B1139 Invalid Transmitter Identification Code - is a continuous DTC that sets when the SJB detects that an RKE transmitter is attempting to be programmed with a transmitter identification code that does not begin with C0 or D0.

DTC B2276 Less Than 2 Transmitters Programmed - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects that there is zero or only one RKE transmitter programmed.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- IKT battery
- IKT programming
- IKT
- Aftermarket systems
- High power devices
- TV/radio transmission towers
- Instrument cluster
- SJB
