Test A: The Alarm System Does Not Disarm - From The Driver Door

PINPOINT TEST A: THE ALARM SYSTEM DOES NOT DISARM - FROM THE DRIVER DOOR

Normal Operation
When the key is turned to the UNLOCK position in the driver door lock cylinder, the door disarm switch provides a ground signal to the SJB on circuit CPL28 (VT/BN). With this signal, the SJB will disarm the perimeter alarm, thereby allowing entry without activating the alarm.

DTC B2100 (Door Driver Key Cylinder Switch Failure) - sets when there is a short to ground in the circuit between the door disarm switch and the SJB. A shorted switch (shorted to UNLOCK) could also cause this DTC.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Door disarm switch (part of the driver door latch)
- SJB
