Satellite Digital Audio Receiver System (SDARS) Module









Removal and Installation

NOTE: This procedure applies to vehicles without navigation, which has the satellite radio receiver built-in to the Audio Control Module (ACM).

1. NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new Satellite Digital Audio Receiver System (SDARS) module is being installed.

Upload the SDARS module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in Information Bus. Programming and Relearning

2. Remove the liftgate scuff plate.

3. Remove the 2 nuts and the SDARS module.
- Disconnect the satellite radio antenna connector and the electrical connector.

- To install, tighten the nuts to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
