Removal and Installation
1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.
2. Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud. For additional information, refer to Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud Service and Repair.
3. Remove the front bumper cover.
4. Release the clamp and disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
5. Release the clamp and disconnect the degas bottle-to-radiator hose from the radiator.
6. Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
7. Remove the compressor-to-condenser discharge line bracket bolt.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
8. Remove the 2 upper radiator support bracket bolts and position the radiator toward the engine.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
9. Remove the 2 upper radiator support brackets.
10. Detach the A/C line pushpins from the radiator.
11. Remove the 2 A/C condenser bolts from the radiator and separate the condenser from the radiator.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
12. Remove the radiator.
13. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
