Backup Transceiver

Removal
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Place the selector lever to the full rearward position.
3. Position the front seats fully rearward and fully reclined.
4. Remove the LH (Left Hand) and RH (Right Hand) instrument panel finish panels.
5. Remove the LH (Left Hand) and the RH (Right Hand) front floor console side trim panels.
- Pull outward to release the retainers.
6. Remove the latch trim panel.
- Pull upward to release the retainers.
7. Remove the front floor console upper finish panel screw.
8. Remove the front floor console upper finish panel.
- Starting at the rear of the front floor console upper finish panel, pull upward to release the retainers.
9. If equipped, disconnect the hill descent control switch electrical connector.
10. Disconnect the ambient lighting electrical connector.
11. Remove the ambient light bar.
12. Remove the selector level boot from the front floor console upper finish panel.
- Release the 5 tabs to remove.
13. If equipped, disconnect the audio input jack, USB (Universal Serial Bus) port and power point electrical connectors.
14. Release the 4 clips and pull up on the front of the front floor console storage bin to gain access to the backup transceiver.
NOTE: LH (Left Hand) front floor console storage bin clips shown, RH (Right Hand) clips similar.
15. Remove the 4 backup transceiver nuts and disconnect and remove the backup transceiver.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
