Radio Removal Tool:

SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the audio unit.
1 Insert the special tool.
2 Using the special tool, remove the audio unit.
^ Disconnect the electrical connectors and antenna lead-in cable.

CAUTION: To prevent damaging the audio unit and the audio unit retaining clips, do not use excessive force when installing the radio removal tool.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
