Normal Operation
The door lock control switch receives voltage on circuits 31S-AA85 and 31S-AA39 (BK/YE) from the generic electronic module (GEM). The door lock cylinder switch completes the circuit 31S-AA85 (BK/RD) to the GEM circuit 31-AA34 (BK) to supply a ground signal to the GEM to lock the doors. The door lock cylinder switch completes the circuit 31S-AA39 to the GEM circuit 31-AA34 (BK) to supply a ground signal to the GEM to unlock the doors.

Possible Causes
- circuit 31-AA34 (BK) open
- circuit 31S-AA39 (BK/YE) open or short to ground
- circuit 31S-AA85 (BK/RD) open or short to ground
- driver door lock control switch
- passenger door lock control switch
