Test C: The Speed Control Does Not Disengage When The Brakes Are Applied

PINPOINT TEST C: THE SPEED CONTROL DOES NOT DISENGAGE WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED

C1-C3:

Normal Operation
Voltage is supplied to the speed control deactivator switch through circuit 15-PG6 (GN/YE). The speed control deactivator switch sends a voltage signal through circuit 15S-PG16 (GN/YE) to the speed control actuator. When the brake pedal is applied, the voltage signal is removed from the speed control actuator and the speed control is deactivated.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 15S-PG16 (GN/YE) short to voltage
- Speed control actuator
- Speed control deactivator switch
