Test A: No Communication With the Instrument Cluster

PINPOINT TEST A: NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

A1-A2:

A2-A4:

Normal Operation
The instrument cluster communicates interactively with other electronic modules using the communication network. With the ignition switch in the START or RUN position, the instrument cluster receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 15-GG14 (GN/RD). With the ignition switch in the RUN or ACC position the instrument cluster receives voltage from the CJB through circuit 75-GG14 (YE/BU). With the ignition switch in the OFF position, the instrument cluster receives its keep-alive voltage from the CJB through circuit 29-GG14 (OG). The instrument cluster is grounded through circuit 91-GG14 (BK/OG).

Possible Causes
- fuse(s)
- circuit 15-GG14 (GN/RD) open
- circuit 29-GG14 (OG) open
- circuit 75-GG14 (YE/BU) open
- circuit 91-GG14 (BK/OG) open
- instrument cluster
