Removal and Installation

All vehicles

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
- From underneath the cushion front edge, push the 2 seat cushion latch releases toward the LH side of the vehicle.

- Lift up the front edge of the cushion and remove.

2. Remove the rear center safety belt anchor bolt.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

3. Remove the RH and LH quarter trim panels. For additional information, refer to Quarter Trim Panel - 4-Door Quarter Trim Panel - 4-Door.

2 door

4. Remove the RH and LH C-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel C-Pillar Trim Panel.

All vehicles

5. Fold the rear seat backs downward to the flat position.

6. Remove the safety belt retractor bezel.
- Pull the safety belt retractor bezel toward the front of the vehicle.

- Remove the safety belt retractor bezel from the safety belt.





7. Remove the 2 parcel shelf pin-type retainers.

8. Remove the parcel shelf.
- Pull the parcel shelf toward the front of the vehicle.

- Pull the center safety belt rearward through the center retractor opening.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
