Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Description and Operation
The SPEAKERS (4) are located at the ends of the I/P, in the hatchback door, or in the rear speaker trim panels (optional). The RADIO also incorporates an electronic memory for preselected station and clock functions.
Battery voltage is applied at all times for the RADIO clock and memory circuitry through the TAIL Fuse. If this voltage source is interrupted for any reason, the clock and memory functions must be reset. With the ignition switch in "ACCY" or "ON," battery voltage is applied through the ACC Fuses to the RADIO. When the RADIO "ON/VOL" control is pressed to "ON," voltage is applied through the switch to power all electronic RADIO functions. The RADIO is permanently grounded at G203.
